The Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office has launched a new In-Home Visitation program to connect deputies with senior citizens and special needs residents.
“This program is a new initiative under our Elderly Services Division,” says Sheriff Chris Savoie. “The purpose of this program is to assist senior and disabled residents with their needs, keep them informed about scams to be aware of and give them an opportunity to share any concerns they have about their neighborhood.”
To sign up for a visit with a deputy, fill out the online form available at www.cameronso.org/forms-in-home visitation. Paper forms are available at the sheriff’s office substations in Johnson Bayou, Grand Lake/Sweetlake and Hackberry, and at the Cameron Parish Council on Aging.
