The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University is now an official intermediary for Louisiana Economic Development’s Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Program. This program supports small business growth and job creation across the state.

Eligible businesses can become SEBD-certified within 48 hours. To check eligibility and apply, visit:

Certification benefits include local access to expert-led training in finance, accounting, QuickBooks, marketing, and legal topics.

Upcoming trainings and events include “Level Up” Legal Training which is offered online throughout May. The first 10 participants to complete the training will receive a free one-hour legal consultation.

Also, the Peer-to-Peer Roundtable Series, a 10-month series, is launching in August for SEBD-certified businesses.
