In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana and the particular reference to the provisions of La R.S. 30:4, and the provisions of Statewide Order No. 29-M-3 (LAC 43:XVII, Subpart 5) and 29-M (LAC 43:XVII, Subpart 3) as amended and adopted by the Office of Permitting and Compliance of the State of Louisiana,

will be applying to the Office of Permitting and Compliance, Engineering Division for permits to solution-mine and subsequently store hydrocarbons in two (2) wells at the Black Bayou Salt Dome. The proposed wells will be drilled as Class III Brine Extraction Wells and later converted to Class II Hydrocarbon Storage Wells. These proposed wells and salt caverns will be used for hydrocarbon storage.

The proposed wells and salt caverns will be identified as Black Bayou Cavern Well No. 03 and Black Bayou Cavern Well No. 04 located in Section 008, Township 12 South, Range 12 West, Black Bayou Field, Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Black Bayou Cavern Well Nos. 03 and 04 will be drilled to a depth of 7000 feet. The proposed top of the solution-mined caverns will be at 4100 feet with the base at 6000 feet.

Once submitted, the application will be available for inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Engineering Division Office, 8th Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA.
