Rose Ann Constance Burch, 71, of Lake Charles died Thursday, Apr. 29, 2021 in a local hospital.

She was born in Lake Charles. She was raised in Holly Beach and was a graduate of Johnson Bayou High School. In her earlier years, she worked in the kitchen at Zapata. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Burch; children, Monica Burch Ancelet (Lenard Jeane) and Mark Burch (Michelle); siblings, MaeDoris Constance Little and John T. Constance; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vida and Peter Constance, Jr.; three siblings; and four grandchildren, twins Ethan and Kaleb Ancelet, and Jarrett and Mason Burch.

A funeral mass was held Saturday, May 1, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry. Fr. Arvind Minz, HGN officiated. Buria followed in New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
