Ronald “Ronnie” James Vincent, 74, a native of Hackberry and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Visitation will be at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Hackberry on Friday, July 29, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with a rosary at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Hackberry Community Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Vincent; daughters, Velendia Long (Steve), Donna Shank (Scott), Shari Long and Teresa Long-Knoblock (Robert); mother, Mildred Vincent; sisters, Glenda Welch (Wayne) and Anjanette Portie (Keith); seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Vincent; and nephew, Joseph “Joe” Welch.

Ronnie enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
