Ronald “Ron” Duane Meistrell, 58, died Monday, June 22, 2020, in Anacoco.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas. For many years, he worked as an insulator in plants throughout the Lake Charles area. Then he worked as a mechanic.

He was survived by his wife, Rita Meistrell of Anacoco; son, Benjamin Meistrell of Grand Lake; daughter, Tracey Meistrell of Moss Bluff; mother, Erline Bryant and husband Don of Lake Charles; stepdaughters, Amanda Olivier and husband Jared of Lake Charles, Teresa Williams and husband Matt of Lake Charles, and Kari Deshotel and husband Jordy of Round Rock, Texas; brothers, Richard Meistrell of Duncanville, Texas, and Randy Meistrell of Sulphur; sisters, Tammy Derouen of Bell City, and Tricia McKelvain of Reeves; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Andrew Meistrell.

His cremation was entrusted to Jeane’s Funeral Service.
