The Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters is temporarily located at the Grand Lake Library, 10200 Gulf Hwy., in Grand Lake. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The Open General/Congressional/RSCC will be held Saturday, Dec. 5.

The ballot will include:

RSCC Member 25th Senatorial District, Division A, (Vote for One): Russell L. Ferguson, Mary “Sister” Fontenot

CA No. 1 (ACT 10, 2nd ES-SB 44): Allows out of state resident to serve on a public postsecondary education board of supervisors

The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System is Saturday, Nov. 14.

Early voting will be held at the Grand Lake Library, located at 10200 Gulf Hwy. in Grand Lake, on Nov. 20-28 from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (excluding Sunday, Nov. 22, Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27. Early voting is advanced one day because of the holidays.

Early voting at the Hackberry Community Center will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee by mail ballot is Dec. 1, by 4:30 p.m. You can request an absentee by mail ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).

The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted mail ballot is Dec. 4, by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
