Rebecca Ann Bridges Broussard, 78, died in a Lake Charles hospital Friday, Aug. 27, 2021.

She was born in White Sand, Miss. She was a longtime member of Tom Hebert Baptist Church.

She was survived by her seven children, Shiela Ann Conner of Iowa, Debra Lyne Henderson of Iowa, Travis Martin Broussard (Jocelyn) of Sweetlake, Kurt Allen Broussard (Angela) of Lafayette, Theresa Ann Smith (Edward) of Broussard, Lora Renee Mock (James) of Grand Lake, and Darla Michele Montie (David) of Sweetlake; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; sister, Kathryn Sue Bridges Roberts of Wesson, Miss.; brothers, James Harvey Bridges of Clarksville, Tenn., Joseph Michael Bridges of New Hebron, Miss., and Buddy Earl Bridges of Creole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Martin Broussard; grandson, Channing Wayne Conner; parents, James Ethel and Nannie Marie Roberts Bridges.; and three sisters.

Funeral services were held for immediate family only.
