Police Jury November voting session

Cameron Parish Police Jury held their voting session on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m.

Two Drilling and Pipeline permits were issued to Robertson Energy.

Other permits moved to be accepted were: Venture Global CP LNG, LLC, BP America Production Company (B244), Texas Gas Transmission, LLC, BP America Production Company (B244), Cameron Parish Port, Harbor & Terminal District, Brannon Hebert, and BIBO Investments.

Reappointed to Waterworks District No. 16 was Barry Watkins.

A public hearing was conducted to abandon the last 240 feet of Parish Rd. 326, Savoie Lane, located in Section 27, T14S, R8W, Cameron.

Liquor Permits approved were: T-Boys Cajun Foods, LLC, and Family Dollar Stores of Louisiana, LLC, both in Grand Lake.

The Police Jury accepted the lowest bid for PPDR Batch 1, of $97,500 and granted President authority to sign all required documents and contract.

Authority was given for the Building Inspector to send Notice of Condemnation Hearing to all properties on condemnation list for PPDR Program Batch 3.
