Cameron Parish Police Jury held a called meeting on Monday, Jan. 29, to discuss Health Unit and Hospital Services in Cameron Parish. In attendance were District Attorney Tom Barrett and Louisiana Dept. of Health’s Regional Medical Director Dr. Lacey Cavanaugh. The Lower Cameron Hospital District met on Tuesday, Jan. 30, to discuss how to proceed with medical services for the parish.

The consideration of Health Unit repairs bid will be on the Police Jury’s agenda for the regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
