Hornets Fall to East Beau

The Grand Lake Hornets traveled to East Beauregard this past Friday to play in the first round of the Division 4 Non-Select Playoffs. Unfortunately errors hurt Grand Lake which ultimately ended the Hornets’ season earlier that expected.

Tanner Beniot went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Wyatt Wilkerson went 1-3, Grayson Daigle went 1-3, and Kasen Quinn went 1-2.

Congratulations to the Hornets on a great season!

Mustangs Fall to Choudrant

The Hackberry Mustangs season came to an end last Thursday in the first round of the playoffs at the hands of the Choudrant Aggies from north Louisiana.

The Mustangs hung tough but errors are what ultimately decided the fate of their season in this game.
Brant Thomas and Reece Trahan both pitched and combined for 4 strikeouts.

Kaston Moore went 1-3, Derek Murphy went 1-4, Wyatt Poole went 1-3 with an RBI, and John Wesley Vincent went 1-3.
