The Cameron Parish Gravity Drainage District No. 7 board met for a regular meeting at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, at the Drainage District 7 office.
Members present: Robert Trahan, Russell Badon, Don Trahan, Rogerest Romero, Rodney Billiot
Employees: Marsha Trahan, Scotty Badon, Kristopher Trahan, Josh Trahan
Guests: James Erbelding, Jim Erbelding
Meeting was called to order by Don Trahan
Prayer and Pledge led by Russell Badon
Public Comment-none
Robert Trahan made a motion, seconded by Rodney Billiot and carried to approve May regular meeting minutes and June special meeting minutes.
On a motion by Russell Badon, seconded by Robert Trahan and carried, the following permits were approved:
LCUP# 260702-KINDER MORGAN LA. PIPELINE
LCUP# 260703-JAMES W. ERBELDING
LCUP# 260704-GERALD CREDEUR
On a motion by Rogerest Romero, seconded by Russell Badon and carried, action on executive session from June 16th special meeting was removed from the table.
Motion to hire Kurt Storm as Full Time Heavy Machine Operator/Maintenance person made by Rogerest Romero, seconded by Robert Trahan and carried. Russell Badon abstained.
On a motion by Russell Badon, seconded by Rogerest Romero and carried the board approved invoices and payment of bills.
On a motion by Robert Trahan, seconded by Rodney Billiot and carried, the board accepted the receipt of financial statement, budget to actual comparison and report of current investments.
Salinity readings were reported as fresh by Josh Trahan.
Rogerest Romero made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Russell Badon and carried.
