1 – SOUTH BLACK BAYOU FIELD 20-376 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2020, upon the application of CAIRN ENERGY PARTNRS, LLC. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Hackberry Zone, Reservoir C, in the South Black Bayou Field, Cameron Parish, Louisiana.To establish rules and regulations and to create a single drilling and production unit for the Hackberry Zone, Reservoir C, unit to be designated HBY RC SUA.To force pool and integrate all separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests within the unit.To provide that any future wells drilled to the Hackberry Zone, Reservoir C, should be located in accordance with the spacing provisions of LAC 43:XIX.1901, et seq. (Statewide Order No. 29-E).To provide that the Commissioner of Conservation may reclassify the reservoir by supplemental order and without the necessity of a public hearing if the producing characteristics of the reservoir change and evidence to justify such reclassification is submitted to and accepted by the Commissioner of Conservation.To consider such other matters as may be pertinent.
The Hackberry Zone, Reservoir C is hereby defined as being that gas and condensate bearing zone encountered between the electrical log measured depths of 12,590’ and 13,930’ (12,153’ and 13,495’ TVD) in the Samuel Gary Jr. and Associates-Bonne Terre Expl Co. LLC No. 29-1 Well (SN 226898) located in Section 20 (BHL in Section 29), Township 12 South, Range 12 West, and is hereby further defined as having a top at the electrical log measured depth of 11,980’ in the NRG Resources-Austral Oil-Brown-Odom No. 1 Well (SN 177410) located in Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 14 West.
A plat is available for inspection in the Office of Conservation in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana.
