The Cameron Parish Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. in the Wastewater District office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.

Roll call was done by Vickie Conner. The voluntary Prayer was led by Vickie Conner. The Pledge was led by Vickie Conner.
Roll Call: Present: Vickie Conner, Anthony Theriot and Mary Jones.
Absent: David Howard and Brandon DeBarge
Public Comment: Dustin Atkinson wants to build an RV Park located at 151 Franklin Street. Tabled to put on agenda for the October 27th board meeting.
Mike Henry has approval from Venture Global CP2 LNG, LLC to have a vacuum truck on stand-by for emergency use for the Lift Station #2 located at 102 Franklin Street. Tabled to put on agenda for the October 27th board meeting.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to adopt the agenda for September 22, 2026, Wastewater board meeting.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, to rescind the resignation for Mary Jones.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve payment, receipt, and release form for Scotty Brown.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve and dispense from reading the regular session July minutes.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve the financial statement, including the Actual vs Budget, for the month of July 2026.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to pay the monthly bills.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve Kirk Peshoff and Kim Murphy to interview applicants for wastewater operator.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
