Nicholas Carroll Broussard, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020. He was born in Big Lake and had lived in Lake Charles for 60 years.

He worked at Lake Charles American Press for 40 years where he was a member of their bowling league.

He was survived by his children, James Dale Broussard of Houston, Texas, Ricky Blane Broussard and wife Melissa of Lake Charles, Carroll Todd Broussard and wife Tanya of Sweetlake, and Gina Marie Bobo and husband James of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Faulk Broussard; wife, Gloria Broussard; and two brothers.

Funeral services was held at St. Martin de Porres on Monday, Oct. 26, with Msgr. Jace Eskind officiating. Burial followed in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
