PROCEEDINGS
September 15, 2021
There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 2 at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the Hackberry Waterworks office.
PRESENT: Mr. Michael Fewell, Mr. Mark Trahan, Mr. Donald Buford
ABSENT: Mr. Brad Hinton, Mr. Mike Welch
Employees present: Mr. Glenn Welch, Mr. Michael Morales, and Mrs. Shaun Kyle
The meeting was called to order by Board President Michael Fewell who also led the pledge and prayer. Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
On motion of Mark Trahan, seconded by Donald Buford and carried unanimously, the minutes from the August 11, 2021 meeting were approved.
Monthly Superintendent updates were presented by Glenn Welch and Michael Morales. The Board asked the employees to get 2 bids for the installation of a new awning on the office building using the specified scope of work from the Waterworks.
The Financial Report for the month ending August 31, 2021 and updates were presented by Shaun Kyle.
On motion of Mark Trahan, seconded by Donald Buford, and carried unanimously, all bills were approved for payment.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
There being no further business, on motion of Mark Trahan, seconded by Donald Buford, and carried unanimously, the meeting was declared adjourned.
