PROCEEDINGS
November 16, 2023
There was a regular meeting of Gravity Drainage District No. 8 at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Grand Lake Waterworks Office.
PRESENT: Jake McCain, Terry Smith, James Cox, Marsha Delaney, Tommy Arceneaux
ABSENT: None
GUEST: Matt Crador
On motion of James Cox, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the minutes of the of the September 28, 2023, meeting are approved.
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the October Finance Report was accepted by the board as presented by the Secretary.
On a motion of Terry Smith, seconded by Jake McCain and carried, the board approved the following permits:
a. LCUP # 231202 – Texas Petroleum – Yount Lee No. 80
b. LCUP # 231203- Texas Petroleum – Yount Lee No. 90
The board discussed potential tide/rain gauges to be purchased with Disaster Community Development Block Grant Funds and agreed with the placement locations recommended by the Police Jury.
On motion of Terry Smith, second by Marsha Delaney and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
