MINUTES OF MEETING
NOVEMBER 16, 2022
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Peggy Griffith, Tina Payne, Vickie Kiffe and Susan Boudreaux
Absent: None
Guest: None
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
The meeting was called to order by Vickie Kiffe as well as the roll call. The Pledge was led by Susan Boudreaux and the voluntary Prayer was led by Kim Murphy.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Susan Boudreaux, and carried, the minutes for September 2022, regular session meeting was approved. There was no quorum to have the October 2022 meeting.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Tina Payne, and carried, that the bills for September, October, November, & December 2022 be paid.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith, and carried, to adopt the meeting dates and time for the 2023 year. The new time adopted for the meetings is 4:30 p.m. The meeting dates are as follows:
January 2023 – No meeting / February 2023 – No meeting / March 21st / April 2023 – No meeting
May 16th / June 20st / July 18th / August 15th / September 19th / October 17th / November 21st
December – No meeting
DISCUSSIONS MADE BUT NOT FINALIZED ARE:
1. Will be getting with Monty Pearce for a work order to complete the installation of the Sun Sails to be installed as a shelter instead of building a metal roof pavilion.
2. The recent severe weather blew away the entire buoy, rope, sign, and pole setup that was in place in case of an emergency. This will have to be replaced.
COMPLETED PROJECTS:
There are no completed projects at this time
On a motion by Peggy Griffith, seconded by Susan Boudreaux and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
