MINUTES OF MEETING
JUNE 21, 2022
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Peggy Griffith, Vickie Kiffe, Tina Payne, and Susan Boudreaux
Absent: None
Guest: NONE
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
The meeting was called to order by Vickie Kiffe, as well as roll call. The Pledge was led by Susan Boudreaux and the voluntary Prayer was led by Kim Murphy.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Tina Payne, and carried, that the minutes for April 19, 2022, regular session meeting were approved.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith, and carried that the bills for May and June 2022 be paid.
Discussions made but not finalized are:
-The possibility of moving the Jetty Pier Pavilion from Davis Road to Rutherford Beach instead of rebuilding a new pavilion.
COMPLETED PROJECTS:
-The construction of two temporary showers for the upcoming 4th of July holiday.
NOTES: Permanent showers will be installed with the construction of the new pavilion.
-Installation of two new safety signs, along with a life ring & rope due to the past jetty rock incidents.
On a motion by Susan Boudreaux, seconded by Kim Murphy, and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
