Cameron Parish Mosquito Abatement District No. 1

The monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of Cameron Parish Mosquito Abatement District No. 1 was held at 6:00 p.m., August 7, 2024 at the Cameron Parish Mosquito Abatement Office. Board members present were Mitchel Kelley, Marck Smythe, Thomas Cox, and James Boudreaux. Karl Styron, Bryce Carpenter, and Robert Trahan were absent. Coy Vincent, C.P.A. was also present.
The meeting was called to order by Thomas Cox, wh then asked for approval of the minutes from the last meeting, June 24, 2024. A motion was made by James Boudreaux, seconded by Mitchel Kelley, and carried that the minutes be approved as printed. A motion was made by Mitchel Kelley, seconded by James Boudreaux, and carried to approve the financial statement.
There was no old business.
In new business, Coy Vincent presented the 2023 audit to the board. James Boudreaux made a motion, seconded by Mitchel Kelley and carried, to approve the audit report.
The next meeting will be determined at a later date. There being no further business, a motion was made by James Boudreaux, seconded by Mitchel Kelley, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
