LETTER TO PROPERTY OWNERS OF CAMERON PARISH
Due to Hurricanes Laura & Delta, the Cameron Parish Assessor’s Office has given a reduction of 70% on all homes, mobile homes and camps lo.cated within the parish.
When doing our initial fieldwork inspections, if we found your structure was completely demolished, we removed it from the tax roll or for those claiming homestead exemption, we put at a $100 assessed value. This was done to retain homestead exemp.tion for home and property.
If your structure has more than 70% damages, please contact our office at 337-775-5416. Please be prepared to provide insurance claims and photos for proof of additional damages.
