The Cameron Parish Police Jury will be accepting bids to lease approximately 1/2 acre of land generally located at 138 Landing Road (a/k/a the former Crab Lady Landing) for facilities for wholesale purchase of seafood and sale of bait to commercial and recreational fisherman. The lease will be for an annual rent of not less than $5,000 and on a one-year term with lessee having options to extend for additional terms with all maintenance and improvements being the responsibility of lessee. The lessor will not warrant access to the public roadway or the canal. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the West Annex Building at 148 Smith Circle (PO Box 1280), Cameron, LA 70631. At that time and place bids will be opened and read aloud. Only sealed bids labeled “Sealed Bid Crab Lady Landing” will be opened.
