The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on May 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Members present by roll call were Connie Trahan, Nathan Griffith, Kent Carlson, and Mark Young. Members absent were Bobbie Trahan. The employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Shannon Hebert, and Carl Trahan.
It was moved by Nathan Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present. The prayer was led by Nathan Griffith.
It was moved by Kent Carlson to accept the agenda as presented with no additions. The motion was seconded by Mark Young and carried.
A Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to accept the April minutes as read.
The grant funding has not been received by the parish at this time. The projects the funding was for are put on hold until the money is received.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Connie Trahan, and carried to approve the bank statements and the Actual vs. Budget report for the month ending April 2026.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Nathan Griffith to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 p.m. R.S. 44:33.1 – Public records can be obtained by contacting Rhonda Morrison at (337) 569-2110 or 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou, Louisiana.
