South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1
The South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 met in regular session on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 4:30 at the Cameron Parish School Board – Audrey Memorial Building c – 3151 Trosclair Road, Creole, LA 70632.
Board Secretary Haley Baccigalopi called the meeting to order.
The following members were present: Shane Broussard, Todd Conner, Michelle Trahan, and Tammy Vincent
The following members were absent: Joseph Baccigalopi and Vickie Kiffe
The following guests were in attendance: Mitch Thomas – K&M Project Services
It was moved by Michelle Trahan, seconded by Shane Broussard and carried, to add the following item to the agenda: Change Orders for the South Cameron Consolidation Project
It was moved by Michelle Trahan, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to approve the agenda.
It was moved by Tammy Vincent, seconded by Michelle Trahan, and carried, that the minutes from the previous meetings are hereby approved.
It was moved by Tammy Vincent, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried that the financial statements and budget to actual comparison are approved for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 1, Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7, and Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 9.
It was moved by Todd Conner, seconded by Tammy Vincent, and carried, to pay monthly bills for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 1, Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7 and Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 9.
It was moved by Shane Broussard, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to send out the pre-event emergency contracts to vendors for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 1, Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7, and Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 9.
It was moved by Michelle Trahan, seconded by Shane Broussard, and carried, to authorize the Audit Engagement Agreement with Gragson, Casiday, & Guillory, LLP for the year ending December 31, 2024.
It was moved by Michelle Trahan, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to authorize the board secretary to sign the compliance questionnaire with Gragson, Casiday, and Guillory, LLP for the year ending December 31, 2024.
It was moved by Shane Broussard, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried to accept the following change orders for the South Cameron Consolidation Project:
Demolishing the storage tank at Roy Bailey Well for Cameron Parish Water #7 –$12,482.00
Adding generator plugs at all 4 well sites for Cameron Parish Water #9 — $16,660.00
New pump motor for well for Cameron Parish Water #9 — $6,646.00
Installing flow meter to connect Cameron to Creole — $12,659.00
There being no further business, on the motion by Michelle Trahan, seconded by Shane Broussard and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
