South Cameron Middle School Lady Tarpons defeated Hathaway Lady Hornets Jr. High.

BreAnn Morales drove in four runs on two hits to lead SCHS Lady Tarpons past Hathaway Lady Hornets Jr. High 8-4 Thursday, Oct, 26. Morales singled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the third inning, scoring two.

A passed ball put Hathaway Lady Hornets Jr. High on the board in the bottom of the first.

SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons took the lead, 3-1, in the top of the second thanks to singles by Morales, and Rylee Bourriaque.

SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Kristen LeBoeuf drew a walk, scoring one run, and Morales doubled, scoring two runs.

Morales led things off in the circle for SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out seven and walking five. Bourriaque appeared in relief for SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons.

SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons collected eight hits in the game. Claire Baccigalopi, Bourriaque and Morales each collected two hits for SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons. SCHS Middle School Lady Tarpons had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Lexi Hooper, Bree Guillory and Peyton Conner led the team with two walks each.
