Margaret Venable Griffin, 85, of Lake Charles died on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021.

She was a native of Cameron where she lived most of her life and a resident of Lake Charles.

Survivors include her two daughters, Gail Wolfe and husband Ricky of Sulphur, and Pam Griffin and companion Kim Wilkinson of Lake Charles; a son, Myron McGlacklin and wife Marty of Houma; a brother, Willis Venable Jr. of Orange, Texas; a sister, May Bostick of Lake Charles; and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Venable Sr. and Alzina Babineaux Venable; husband, Nolan Joseph Griffin; two brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
