The South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One (“District”) formerly known as Waterworks District No. 7 governed by the Board of said District (the “Board”), of the Parish of Cameron, State of Louisiana, will meet in regular public session at its regular meeting place, 3151 Trosclair Road Creole, Louisiana, at four thirty (4:30) o’clock p.m. on April 22, 2024, according to written notice given to every member thereof and duly posted in the manner required by law.
The President called the meeting to order and on roll call, the following members were present:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE DESCRIBING THE GEOGRAPHIC LIMITS OF THE FORMER WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. 7 WHICH IS NOW A PART OF SOUTH CAMERON CONSOLIDATED WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. ONE OF THE PARISH OF CAMERON, STATE OF LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, by initial affirmative action taken by the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One, an election has been called for November 5, 2024, to consider the levy of the Continuation of ad valorem tax in the former Waterworks District No. 7 which is now part of South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One (“District”), and as a result thereof, it is necessary to publish notice of the boundaries of the former Waterworks District No. 7;
BE IT RESOLVED by the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One, formerly known as Waterworks District No. 7 as follows:
SECTION 1. The statements of fact expressly contained within the preamble to this Resolution have been specifically reviewed by the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One and are found to be factually true and correct, and are made resolutions of the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One.
SECTION 2. That the President and Secretary of this South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. One are empowered, authorized, and requested to cause to be published a public notice describing the geographic limits of the former Waterworks District No. 7, said publication to be made in one issue of the Cameron Pilot, in the same edition as the Notice to Voters is published, pertaining to the special tax election authorized by the District, by resolution adopted this date.
