?PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Members present were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Kent Carlson, Mr. Jim Snyder, and Mr. Nathan Griffith. Members absent were none. Guest attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, Aaron Jinks, and Brad Ibert.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Mr. Griffith.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder and seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried to accept the minutes as read.
An update was given on the double check valve assembly project. The project is still ongoing due to Covid related issues and cold weather delays.
The Holly Beach water tower project was discussed. The construction servitude appraisal has been completed and the DOTD land is being surveyed soon.
Meter installation policies were discussed. Rhonda presented the parish entities installation charges for comparison. The Board will review and discuss at the next meeting.
Employee cost of living raises were discussed. It was moved by Mr. Snyder to give a 3% increase to each employee. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carlson and unanimously carried.
Mr. Roberts resigned from the Board after the January meeting. A new member has been appointed by Police Juror Sonny McGee. The new member will begin at the March meeting.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith to adjourn the meeting @ 6:15 pm.
