The Cameron Lions Club voted Wednesday, June 24, to cancel the annual Cameron Fishing Festival this year, due to concerns about COVID-19. The decision was made out of consideration for the safety and security of the public, and school opening immediately thereafter.

The Festival supports Cameron Parish student scholarships, along with other causes. An on-line auction is being planned to raise funds for scholarships.

First Baptist Church regretfully announces that this year’s Vacation Bible School will not be held. A shorter event may be scheduled at a later date if conditions improve.
