Katherine Marie Doucette Bruner, 85 of Hackberry died at her home on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

She was born in Westlake. She was a long-time member of Hackberry United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Bruner; three children, Craig Bruner of Ragley, Donna Bruner Aucoin of Carlyss, and Gary Bruner and wife Anna of Hackberry; sister Pasty Touchet of Westlake and brother, Alton (Junior) Doucette, Jr., of Palestine Texas; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five foster great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian Richard Doucette and Alton Doucette, Sr; two sisters; two brothers; and great-granddaughter, Kodi Paige Hebert.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 2, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. Rev Leon Boggs officiated. Burial followed at the Hackberry Community Cemetery.
