Johnson Bayou High School Cal-Cam Pageant Representatives have been named.

They are Isabell Trahan, Allison Dearien, Abbygail Corner and Madison Corner.

The Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the West Cal Arena in Sulphur.

Here is a little bit about each reprensentatives in their own words:

Isabella Trahan

My name is Isabella Trahan. I am 17 and a senior at Johnson Bayou High School. My favorite hobby is drawing. I enjoy drawing because it lets me express my creativity and share my imagination. I am doing Cal Cam because I want to try something new and step out of my comfort zone. I am most excited about walking in a big poofy dress and meeting so many new people. One strength I have is confidence. My confidence helps me handle stressful moments and increase my ability to communicate with people.

Allison Dearien

My name is Allison Dearien. I am 15 years old and I’m in 10th grade, I like to dance and hang out with my friends in my free time. My favorite thing to do is competitive dancing because sometimes it is peaceful and it can get you out of your comfort zone. My hobbies and sports are also dancing and I like country music. I like Cal Cam because of the culture, amazing people, and the rides. I am a very confident person so I’m excited to do the Cal Cam Pageant to show my personality and to make more friends.

Abbygail Corner

My name is Abbygail Corner. I am 15 years old and I am a freshman at JBHS. I play four sports at my school: cross-country, track and field, basketball, and softball. I love to play basketball because I love to work with my team, and I also like to meet other basketball players from different schools and become friends with them. This is also why I love to run track and cross-country and play softball; to meet other people and try to be their friends. I want to do Cal Cam because I want to overcome my fear of being in front of large crowds and having to speak and being up in front of people. I am most excited to meet the girls and get to know them. It is so fun to help each other out and give each other confidence. I think my greatest strength is helping others. If a person needs something, I will help them. Even if there is something in the way of me helping them, I will still try my best to help them out.

Madison Corner

My name is Madison Grace Corner. I am 15 years old and some things I like to do are singing, dancing, eating and sleeping. One of my favorite hobbies is to dance. I really love to dance. When I dance, it allows me to be free and just really expressive of all of my emotions. I like Cal Cam because of its diverse culture. One reason I want to do Cal Cam is because if I would win, it would give me the platform to raise awareness of issues and struggles that I and many others have experienced.
