Cameron Parish Recreation District 5 held its regularly scheduled meeting on June 17, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Board member Tremayne Picou called the meeting to order and on roll call the following members were present: Jacob Babcock and Thomas Cox.
Absent: Brett Bellard and Kayla Conner
Employees in attendance were Lisa Ledano.
Guests in attendance: none
Minutes of the previous meeting, May 20, 2021, were distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Jacob Babcock made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Thomas Cox seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.

• Public Comment – time was allowed for public comment prior to voting on all agenda items.
• Hurricane claim update – Tremayne Picou informed the board members present that he received a bid to remove and replace the roof on the gymnasium side of the building from Mallard Construction Group, LLC in the amount of $42,750.00. Jacob Babcock made a motion to accept the bid. Thomas Cox seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
• Approval of bills – The board members present reviewed the invoices for the month of May 2021. Thomas Cox made a motion to approve the bills. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
• Approval of treasurer’s report – The May 2021 treasurer’s reports was distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Thomas Cox made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report as presented. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
The board’s next meeting is schedule to be held on July 15, 2021.
With no further business to discuss, Jacob Babcock made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Thomas Cox seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
