The Hannah Lee Vincent Scholarship Foundation has awarded a $500 donation to the Johnson Bayou High School FFA chapter to support their agricultural education activities for the upcoming school year.
The donation was presented by David Vincent, co-founder of the foundation and longtime ag educator, to Johnson Bayou Principal Joni Smith in front of the school’s iconic Rebel Wall. “This donation continues Hannah’s legacy of leadership, service, and love for FFA,” said Vincent. “It’s our honor to support students who are growing in the same organization that meant so much to her.” The funds will assist the chapter with competition travel, leadership events, and program materials.”
The JBHS administration fund will match the contribution totaling $1000 seed money for the 2025-26 school year. We are all excited to have Mr. Vincent on board full time to help develop project based learning activities and encourage student voice in hands on activities that FFA provides. Stay tuned for great things from our Johnson Bayou FFA Rebels.
