Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District
December 17, 2020
A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Members Present: Travis LaBove, Terry J. Murphy, Travis Welch, and Barry Stine.
Member Absent: Bethany Moore.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Terry J. Murphy and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Barry Stine, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Barry Stine, and carried to elect Bethany Moore as Chairman of the Board for 2021.
Motion was made by Barry Stine, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to elect Travis LaBove as Vice-Chairman of the Board for 2021.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adopt the 2021 Budget for the General Fund.
Motion was made by Barry Stine, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adopt the 2021 Budget for the HRD Multi-Purpose Facilities.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to amend the 2020 General Fund Budget.
1. Decrease Concession Income $35,000.00
2. Decrease Pool Income $8,000.00
3. Increase Repairs $100,000.00
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Barry Stine, and carried to amend the 2020 HRD Multi-Purpose Budget.
1. Decrease Fund transfer from Concession Fund $30,000.00
Motion was made by Barry Stine, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
