PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Members present by roll call were Mr. Nathan Griffith, Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Kent Carlson, Ms. Bobbie Trahan and Mr. Mark Young. Members absent were none. Employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, Jeff Landry, and Aaron Jinks. Guest attending were Coy Vincent.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Mr. Griffith.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items.
It was moved by Mrs. Connie Trahan, seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried to accept the November minutes as read.
Mr. Griffith opened the one Official Journal bid received. It was moved by Mr. Young to accept the bid from the Cameron Parish Pilot. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried.
Coy Vincent presented the 2022 budget revisions. No amendment was required. The 2023 proposed budget was presented. It was moved by Mr. Young to adopt the 2023 budget. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried.
Fema is still in the review process on the approval of the relocation project for the Holly Beach water tower rebuild.
The generator repairs and refurbishing were discussed. No motions were made.
Rhonda presented the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Sabine Pass LNG for the water distribution line extension. It was moved by Mrs. Connie Trahan to authorize President Nathan Griffith to sign the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried.
It was moved by Mrs. Connie Trahan, seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried to approve the bank statements and monthly financial statement.
It was moved by Mr. Carlson, seconded by Mr. Young and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
