The Grand Lake Hornets traveled to Dry Creek last Thursday night to take on the East Beauregard Trojans. It was an absolute mud fest as heavy downpours continued throughout the game which made it difficult for players from both teams to keep their footing as well as making the football very slick. The Hornets still found a way to overcome the harsh elements and escaped with a 29-8 victory.

Brycen Guillory rushed for 70 yards on 21 carries including 3 touchdowns. Charles McFarland rushed for 67 yards on 18 carries. Kelan Vazquez rushed for 35 yards on 4 carries. Wyatt Wilkerson rushed for 13 yards on 5 carries. Luke Wainwright went 3 for 3 kicking extra points.
