In what some folks have called a controversial game others have called one of the best defensive games so far in southwest Louisiana this season – the Grand Lake Hornets and the DeQuincy Tigers battled for 4 grueling quarters and neither team was willing to really give an inch but due to some costly penalties and bad breaks, the Hornets fell to the Tigers 10-7.
Chaston Tavares and Patrick Frey broadcasted the game on 92.9 The Lake. This was the first football game to be broadcasted in Cameron Parish in a very long time!
