Grand Lake High School’s 2026-27 Varsity Hornet Cheer team tended UCA Varsity Cheer camp in Baton Rouge.

Their team competed against all the other teams that attended camp in the “Small Varsity” division.

The Hornet girls brought home:

2nd Place in the Sideline Performance

1st Place in the Cheer Performance

1st Place in the Dance Performance

1st Place Overall Team in Small Varsity Division

Four team members competed and have been selected as All-American Cheerleaders in the 2026 Competition: Reyce Broussard, 12th Grade; Emmalea Daige, 12th Grade; Layla Bruno, 11th Grade; Adrianna Wilkerson, 11th Grade.

Three team members competed and were selected as Jump Competition finalists: Pyper Sonnier, 11th Grade; Layla Bruno, 11th Grade; Emmylou St. Romain, 9th Grade. One of the team members completed and Won 1st place in the overall camp Jump Competition out of every team in attendance: Layla Bruno, 11th Grade.
