Mary Broussard

Grand Lake High School’s Support Staff of the Year is Mary Beth Broussard. As a Grand Lake High School alumni, Broussard is now the high school’s Technology Integration Specialist. In this role, she services all of the school’s technology and is solely responsible for ensuring each student and teacher is equipped with the necessary technology to be successful every day.

She is always willing to go above and beyond her job duties and is the face behind our amazing social media outlets where she helps keep the community informed. Her passion for her job is to ensure that teachers and students have the tools needed every day to teach and learn. With a bachelor’s in Business Administration, she never dreamed of working with technology.

She has been married for 22 years, has six children, and resides in Grand Lake. Outside of work, she likes to spend as much time outdoors with her husband and family. She enjoys gardening, reading, watching movies, baking, and decorating. You may also have seen her behind the steering wheel of a school bus where she drives students to various school events. One cool thing she learned this past summer was how to drive an airboat. She wants her students to know that they should never stand to be mediocre and can always learn how to do new things every single day.
