On Thursday, Jan. 13, Bobby Ray “Outlaw” Garza was released from TIRR Memorial Hermann Rehab Hospital in Houston, just a little over two months since his rodeo accident.
His release was way ahead of schedule thanks to his TIRR Therapy Rehab Team and all his prayer warriors. He returned to Barbe High School on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
He still has some ongoing healing but has been truly blessed for a second chance at life with minimal lasting effects.
Yesterday, Jan. 26, Bobby turned 18 and he is looking forward to Graduation in May.
His parents, Dale and Sharon Garza, are so proud of his recovery and his never give up attitude about all that he has faced.
A benefit has been scheduled for late March to help with medical bills. More details will be printed in the Pilot as plans are finalized.
