Frank Theriot

Frank Sidney Theriot was born in Chenier Perdue, Mar. 4, 1940 and passed away, Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, surrounded by family in the comfort of his daughter Roni’s home in Grand Lake. He loved gardening, bird watching, and cutting grass. He also enjoyed cooking, visiting with his family, and most of all deer hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Sue Ellen Theriot, where they lived most their life in Grand Chenier; sons, Vince (Lori) Theriot, Chris (Angi) Theriot; and daughter, Veronica (Joey) Trosclair; his five grandchildren, Kristin (Corey) Fenetz, Lex (Misty) Theriot, Haylee (Jordan) Brashear, Laney Cheramie, Jody (Lexie) Trosclair; his eight great-grandchildren, Cami Fenetz, Kenzie Fenetz, Kinley Brashear, Cole Fenetz, Keller Brashear, Lane Cheramie, Sadie Theriot, and Reece Trosclair and one sister, Loretta Theriot.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Alva Theriot; brother, Sidney Theriot; and son, Lewis Theriot.

Pallbearers were Corey Fenetz, Lex Theriot, Jody Trosclair, Jordan Brashear, Buster McKoin, and Harry Aucoin.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, located at 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles. Father Tim Goodly of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur presided. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, beginning at 4 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 6 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial followed the funeral services at Sweetlake Community Cemetery.
