Floyd Patrick Silver, Jr. 70, of Hackberry, died on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in Sulphur. He was born in Lake Charles.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Silver; two children, Patrick Loree’ Silver (Theresa) and Tabitha Silver Hoffman (Eric), both of Sulphur; brother, Robert Lee Silver of Hackberry; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Silver; one daughter, Tina Marie Silver; and one brother.

A celebration service was held at the Hackberry Community Center on Monday, July 8. Rev. Jimmy Sanner officiated. Burial followed at Hackberry Community Cemetery in Hackberry under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Funeral Home.
