POLICE JURY
SPECIAL SESSION
NOVEMBER 22, 2023
AMENDED
The Cameron Parish Police Jury met in special session on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in the in the Cameron Parish Library, Grand Lake Branch in the Village of Grand Lake, Louisiana at 3:00 o’clock P.M. The following members were present: Mr. Joe Dupont, Mr. Curtis Fountain, Mr. Scott Trahan, Mr. McKinley Guidry, Mr. Lawrence Faulk, and Mr. Magnus McGee. Mr. Thomas McDaniel & Mr. Kirk Quinn were absent.
It was moved by Mr. McGee, seconded by Mr. Fountain, and carried, that the Jury shall go into Executive Session to discuss Litigation “Cameron Parish Police Jury v Auster Oil et al”. The vote thereon was as follows:
YEAS: Joe Dupont, Curtis Fountain, Scott Trahan, McKinley Guidry, Magnus McGee, and Lawrence Faulk
NAYS: None
ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: Kirk Quinn and Thomas McDaniel
The president called the meeting back to order and the jury returned to regular session.
It was moved by Mr. Trahan, seconded by Mr. Guidry, and carried the board hereby authorizes general counsel, Cameron Parish District Attorney, Tom Barrett, to accept or reject the offers of BP or Shell or Hillcorp at no less than the amount presented in Executive Session.
There being no further business, it was moved by Mr.
Faulk, seconded by Mr. Fountain, and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
