The Cameron Parish Police Jury is seeking a motivated and highly qualified individual to fill the Permitting Inspector position. Typical duties may include
•Schedule and perform field inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and related regulations.
•Determine compliance with codes, plans and regulations.
•Review sketches and conceptual drawings for proposed project construction, alterations, and/or repairs.
•Detect and identify mold, asbestos, termites, lead, and other hazards.
•Prepare and issue violation notices and stop work orders.
