Everett Mark Miller Jr., 65 of Grand Lake and a former native of Houma died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in the care of Harbor Hospice.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia Louviere Miller of Grand Lake; two sons, Everett Mark Miller III and wife Heather of Lake Charles, and Dylan Miller of Grand Lake; one granddaughter; brothers, Larry Miller of Lake Charles, Allen Miller of Lake Charles, and Herman Williams of Houston Texas; sisters, Dana Cooley of Houma, Carmen Duplechin of Nacogdoches, Texas, Renee Bertrand of Welsh, Michelle Miller of Lake Charles, and Patricia Mouton of Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett M. Miller Sr. and stepmother, Emerline Miller; mother, Sherrill Fangui Benoit and stepfather, Douglas Benoit; two brothers; and two stepbrothers.

He was a carpenter.

Memorial service was held Monday, May 9, at Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, La. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Francis #2 Cemetery in Houma.
