Ervis Emile “Jr.” Portie Jr., 76, of Sulphur, formerly of Hackberry, died Friday, Mar. 12, 2021.

He was born in Grand Chenier.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Mar. 16, at the Hackberry Community Center. Rev. Jeanne Gunter officiated. Services were under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
