Early voting set at three locations

Early voting for the Nov. 13 Open Primary Election will be conducted at the following locations and dates:

Cameron Parish Police Jury West Annex, 148 Smith Circle, Cameron, from Saturday, Oct. 30 through Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, (except Sunday, Oct. 31), from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. This will be seven days of voting.

Grand Lake Library, 10200 Gulf Hwy., Grand Lake, from Monday, Nov. 1 through Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. This will be three days of voting.

Hackberry Community Center, 980 Main St., Hackberry, on Friday, Nov. 5, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. This will be one day of voting.

Bring your picture ID with you.

The deadline to register to vote in person or by mail is Wednesday, Oct. 13.

The deadline to register to vote online through www.geauxvote.com is Saturday, Oct. 23.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Nov. 9 by 4:30 p.m. You can request an absentee ballot online through www.geauxvote.com or in writing through the Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).

The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is Nov.12 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
