Early Voting begins Nov. 22

Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters provided this important information on the Dec. 7, 2024 – Congressional General Election:

The deadline to register to vote in person, by mail or at the OMV Office was Nov. 6.

The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System was Nov. 16.

Early voting will be conducted at our main office – Cameron Parish Police Jury West Annex, 148 Smith Circle – Cameron, (6 Days), Nov. 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 30 (excluding Sunday, Nov. 24, Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Grand Lake Library 10200 Gulf Hwy, Grand Lake – Early voting will be conducted for (2 days) Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Hackberry Community Center 980 Main St Hackberry – Early Voting will be conducted (1 day only), Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Dec. 3 by 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through GeauxVote Online System or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.

The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is Dec. 6 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m
