Earl Primeaux, 72, of DeRidder passed from this life Monday, July 20, 2020.
Earl loved to go bowling, shoot pool, ride motorcycles, attend car shows with his antique truck, and dance, but most recently his favorite pastime was going to the movies and eating movie popcorn. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Brenda Hope Primeaux of DeRidder; sons, Michael Primeaux and Rene of Bossier City, Shalako Owens of Ragley, David Owens and Amanda of Brookings S. D.; daughters, Priscilla Primeaux Cooley and Ricky, Sr., of DeRidder, Crystal Owens of Iroquois, S. D.; brothers, Eugene Primeaux and Carolyn of Lake Charles, Robert Primeaux and Jean of Sweetlake; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H. D. and Frances Primeaux; and grandson, Ricky “Rocky” Cooley, Jr.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. A private funeral service was held. Brother Kevin Reeves officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Cody Primeaux, Shalako Owens, Dustin Owens, David Owens, Steven Primeaux and Crystal Owens. Honorary Pallbearer was Ricky Cooley, Sr. Burial followed at Evans Cemetery in Evans.
