On Monday, Sept. 13, the Cameron Parish School Board recognized the May 21st donation of $20,000 to the five schools in the parish.

The Farm Credit System is a nationwide network of banks and retail lending associations chartered to support the borrowing needs of U. S. agriculture rural infrastructure and rural communities, Their Shared Success program made possible a matching $10,000 donation, through member institution CoBank, of the $10,000 donation from Cameron Communications.

Funds were distributed to each school for programs and assistance where they were most needed. Kristi Boudreaux, of Cameron Communications, presented a symbolic check to the School Board on Monday.
